One Park West Scheme hits £25m in sales
Residential building in the heart of Liverpool ONE is Grosvenor's best-selling development in the UK.

Only twelve months after it was officially opened by the Duke of Westminster, sales at Grosvenor's One Park West residential development have topped more than £25million.

The building, designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli famous for the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpar, was Grosvenor's best-selling development in the country in 2009 and is one of the most successful schemes that agents, King Sturge, have on offer in the North of England.

Since its official launch in December 2008, 123 units have been completed, with a further 21 apartments due to complete before Christmas. Additionally, 120 apartments have been let, achieving some of the highest rents in the city, ranging from £525pcm for a studio to £900pcm for a 2 bedroom apartment.

Among the highlights of the year was a nomination for the Stirling Prize for outstanding architecture and the opening of The Gym Group, which took 19,500 sq ft over three floors to open the city's first 24-hour gym.

Project director Guy Butler said: "It is a time-honoured truth that the right product in the right location will always sell, even in a brow-beaten economy and in 2009 One Park West has proved that theory true."
