New Bona Traffic Anti Slip delivers safe surfaces

Bona Traffic Anti-Slip has been specified at St Mary’s Primary School in Cardiff to provide a safe surface on the original wooden floors in the hall and corridors. Anti Slip is the newest version of Bona Traffic, the company’s toughest waterborne lacquer. It offers a perfect surface grip for heavily used wooden floors such as school staircases and corridors; or wherever increased slip resistance is demanded.  It conforms to the DIN-standard (51130-R10).

A typical specification to ensure compliance with the R10 standard would include belt and edge sanding to 120 grit, finishing with a 150 grit screen,  after which one coat of Bona Prime Classic should be followed by two coats of Traffic Anti Slip.Since Bona launched Traffic in 1999, these tough lacquers have treated more than 100 million square metres of wooden floors all over the world! New Bona Traffic Anti-Slip joins Bona Traffic Invisible-Protection and Bona Traffic Silkmatt to offer extreme wear resistance, excellent levelling out properties and an even sheen level across the entire floor. Each Bona Traffic version provides around twice the wear resistance of ordinary waterborne finishes.

Bona no longer manufactures solvent based finishes and all their lacquers are low VOC formulations.  All versions of Bona Traffic carry the Emicode EC1 low emission certification.
