Becoming a CPD provider through the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is a giant leap for EGGER in establishing itself further in the specification market. For EGGER along with innovative products, eye-catching decors and state of the art technology, joining forces with the Royal Institute seemed to be the next logical step.
As a CPD provider EGGER is able to visit architects throughout the UK with an engaging training session to encourage and influence designers and architects. Subscribing to RIBA not only offers companies the opportunity to promote their products through the Online Product Selector, but also to step in front of architects to educate them through CPD’s, thus why EGGER see’s this as an invaluable move.
EGGER’s national specification manager, Richard Milligan is enthusiastic about the prospect of offering RIBA accredited CPD’s. “We have increased our presence and relationships with architects but are hoping that by working alongside RIBA and offering CPD’s this will increase even more,” he says. “We have some inspiring products and decors to offer and hope that we can build on our already strong portfolio of retail brand projects.”
With budgets for specifications becoming increasingly tight, EGGER is the perfect manufacturer to assist and advise you on how to avoid over specifying on projects. Their first CPD will be titled ‘Engineering Value for Interior Specifications’. The seminar will cover material comparisons and the benefits surrounding engineering value. Architects can benefit from technical product information, and an in-depth look at other opportunities available.
Not only will you experience professional advice and discussion from EGGER’s national specification manager, but samples of the materials in question will be on offer. For those attending, all information will be detailed in a thorough brochure to take away, including the key points from the session. EGGER hopes that as an architect or interior specifier this CPD will be key to educating you on over-specification, the possibilities of using other materials and that the design and aesthetics needn’t be affected.
With more emphasis on refurbishment rather than new build, it is more important than ever for EGGER to be at the front of the specifiers minds when designing for projects. With a vast product range including Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC), 38mm and 50mm EUROLIGHT lightweight boards, Laminate and Edging, EGGER has a range of cost effective surfacing solutions for interior design projects.
