Architecture practices join forces

Michael Cook Associates and Nick Evans Architects today announce a merger between their practices in London and Sussex. The new company will provide a full range of architectural services, together with project management, CDM coordination and environmental consultancy, to their rapidly expanding client base across the UK.

MCA is a diverse practice with an exceptional track record in Residential, Educational, Commercial and Industrial sectors, and an unrivalled reputation for delivering design and technical solutions to the highest standards.

NEA is a design-led practice and an industry leader in the Education sector, and was one of only 12 architectural practices to be selected for the Learning Skills Council Southern Consultants Framework in 2008.

Together, MCA+NEA will combine their strengths to offer the highest design and technical standards to clients. With seven directors and 30 staff, the new company will have the experience and capacity to create, manage and deliver the full spectrum of construction projects to local and national clients.

Tony Clark, MCA Chairman, commented: "After three years of close collaboration between our practices, we’re delighted to announce this merger.  The reputation of Nick Evans Architects perfectly complements our own capabilities and will help us to deliver outstanding design with technical excellence.  We are looking forward to continued growth and success.”
